Life
Hello out there
For those who remember me I was the quiet one who came from an east coast school in 1969, and thought my experience at Monte Vista Highschool was a California cultural disaster. And because of my new peers I had to quickly grow my hair out to blend in with my new friends. When I finished with MVH I thought it was time to move on for decades and forget that period of my life, however, an old classmate busted me through this web page and it brought back memories I had forgotten for years. So here is a time capsul of where I've been for the last 35 years.
After Monte Vista I joined the Navy and became a medic, served on a war ship went to DVC, got married, got divorced, worked for an Orthopedic surgeon for a number of years, went back to college starting with UC Berkeley, moved to southern California, went to school again at California State for a B.S in Health Sciences, graduated, worked and lived near the southern cal beaches, moved to San Jose, got remarried(still married), now live in the Viva Las Vegas area for the last 17years, had a prosthet...Expand for more

School
The funniest memory I have of the 69-73 MVH generation happened on the lawn during a lunch break. I don't remember what year it was but do remember it was that bright sunny day on the school lawn. Many students were gathered in groups on the grass enjoying each others company. When all of a sudden, we herd a roar and spotted a single engine Cesna airplane diving out of the sky at us (or somethig like that) and pelting us with eggs. Students ran in different directions to avoid the splattering, some sat with their mouths hanging open, and others just giggled.
"What was that!" A bird, a plane? Yep, it's those damn rich kids from Rosmore country club a buddy of mine replied. We thought that was funny then, but now it would be considered today a terrorist attack and be reported on CNN.
